Editors

Nathaniel Lane Taylor, Ph.D., FASG, of Barrington, Rhode Island, joined TAG as a Co-Editor in 2012, and succeeded David L. Greene as Editor and Publisher in 2014. A historian with a special interest in the history of genealogy, Dr. Taylor has written on British and Continental European genealogy and heraldry as well as colonial and more recent genealogy in New England and Virginia. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Genealogists.

Joseph C. Anderson II, FASG, of Dallas, Texas, has been an Co-Editor of TAG since 1999. He specializes in New England genealogy and is the editor of The Maine Genealogist, one of the best of the regional journals, and editor of the acclaimed Maine Families in 1790 project sponsored by the Maine Genealogical Society. He is also a Fellow of the American Society of Genealogists.

Roger D. Joslyn, CG, FASG, of New York City, has been involved with TAG since 1983 as a Contributing Editor, reviewer, and, for many years, TAG’s indexer, before stepping further aboard as a Co-Editor in 2014. A Certified Genealogist and full-time researcher with a concentration on forensic work, he is a Fellow of the American Society of Genealogists, the Utah Genealogical Association, and The New York Genealogical and Biographical Society.

Consulting Editor:

David L. Greene, Ph.D., FASG, of Cleveland, Georgia, joined in the editing of TAG in 1984 with Ruth Wilder Sherman, FASG, who was then Editor and Publisher. Following Mrs. Sherman’s death in 1992, Dr. Greene became Editor and Publisher of the journal, which he operated for 22 years while also serving as Professor of English and Chair of the Division of Humanities at Piedmont College, Demorest, Georgia. In 2014 Dr. Greene retired as Editor and Publisher, assuming (as had his predecessors Mr. Jacobus in 1966 and Dr. McCracken in 1983) the role and title of Consulting Editor. Dr. Greene is a Fellow of and past President of the American Society of Genealogists.
