This issue continues our recent focus on Plymouth Colony with three articles on Old Colony families, leading off with the incomparably named Hercules Hills and his cousin Edmund Tilson. Another article carefully places a migrant from Cape Cod to Maine in his parental family with Mayflower descents. Two other articles feature interpretations of lost early colonial documents, a will and a writ, found in unlikely places. While most of this issue dwells in coastal New England — Maine, Massachusetts, Plymouth Colony, and Connecticut — we will resume a healthy dose of Southern genealogy with the next issue.
